My son and I had lunch here today. He had the wings and i had the ribs and sausage. The food was excellent! Our server was awesome! The dinning area has some really cool decor and so did the mens room. Great food, Great service, great place to get your BBQ fix. I highly recommend this place.

Really good food, decent prices. Service is usually good and friendly. I've been several times for lunch and and always pleased. Unfortunately BBQ is expensive everywhere. Beef prices are high. And quite a bit of work goes into preparing smoked meat. If you want some, it will cost. Not as expensive as some places !

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and the place had a good crowd. We grabbed a seat and looked the place over... had been to Billy's old place numerous times but this was our first trip to the Camp Bowie location, really like what he has done with it and the place feels comfortable. I ordered the Brisket plate with Pintos and Tater Salad, M.A. ordered the Breakfast Taco plate. My brisket tasted like Billy's brisket with plenty of fat and juice to it (wish Billy would offer a lean brisket option, love the taste of the fatty meat but not always good for an old guy). The pinto beans were tasty but the potato salad has way to much mayonnaise mixed in it for my liking, hate to say it but I have had better grocery store bought sides. M.A.s tacos were tasty but the hash browns appeared to be diced french fries and not fresh hash browns, again some what of a let down. I also did not see a place to load up on pickles, peppers, onions and such. Billy you are always a nice and friendly host ever time we have stopped by and we will be back. Tighten up the sides a bit and and maybe consider a lean option on the brisket. If you are reading this and have not been to Billy's, give Em a try, nice guy and good meats!

My whole table got the chicken fried steak and it was great!!! fries and green beans and mash great. I personally like the simple atmosphere. Hopefully the barbecue is good too when I come back. Oh yeah and the Texas toast was so good I stole other people's!!

It has been quite awhile since I have been impressed with a BBQ joint. Enjoyed a half slab of pork ribs and the flavor, with and without BBQ sauce was the best I have had in years. I also had a mediocre peach cobbler with ice cream, but this is not a dessert joint, so I'll let it slide.
